The Day after Tomorrow This will be my fav action movie of the Summer, I can already tell with that watching the ten minute preview on Fox last night.
I look forward to Troy... I like Epics.. as long as it doesn't star Russell Crowe. (Minus Gladiator)

I would love to see an epic movie on Alexander the Great. I have my own theories, based on historical innuendo, what drove him to conquer.
<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Based on that review looks like Stone may have the same ideas I would have for the plot development. See Alexander had a brutal, crude father who was really hard on him as he was growing up but he was also intelligent enough to provide Alexander with the education he had not had himself. Alexander's mother may have actually murdered Phillip, and certainly had a role in the murder of Phillip's second wife and child. (Roasted alive inside a hollow bronze bull I believe). Alexander loved Athens and Athenian culture. He also lusted for other men and this presented demons he tried to conquer from within his whole life. He turned that energy outwards and conquered the known world instead. We'll see how far Stone follows this in the plot line.Originally posted by Veneficus Osiris:
